Here's a laughable propaganda becoming so obvious lately...
There is a nationwide public awareness and education campaign being launched by the Government to scare people about water shortage by the year 2025.
Why do I sense that they are just creating a bandwagon effect - with a second rate copycat mimicry of what Al Gore did for the U.S. and the world in general with regards to Climate Change.
Climate Change is not about Water shortages... not even El Nino.
Here are the facts:
1. The Earth is in an equilibrium state with a basis exemplified by the golden 20 rule - which is where Wilfredo Parreto's Logic is based upon. This equilibrium suggests that there will always be 80% water and 20% earth or solid matter in this world. The only water shortage perceivable in the near future is if there will ever be another ICE AGE coming - which is very unlikely.
2. Climate Change is not about Water Shortage, it is about the change in weather patterns happening all over the globe due to the greenhouse effect. Inside a greenhouse, the suns heat is retained and built up - causing an artificial warming up of ambient temperature... it also increases the density of moisture in the air since water vapor cannot escape the green house bubble and therefore water condensates within this bubble - not able to allow entropic reaction with the higher atmosphere where the air and temperature is much cooler and drier... not to mention much fresher.
3. The cooling effect brought about by climate change to some countries lately can be attributed to the melting of the Polar Caps.... It is for a fact that the polar caps hold much of the Earths water reservoir in solid form... but Greenhouse Effect leads to Global Warming... which leads to Polar Ice Caps Melting... these melted Ice goes out into the pacific and Atlantic ocean... as a matter of fact - it spreads out all over the globe - contributing to unusual rising of water levels everywhere... at the same time lowering the over-all water bodies temperature in general... It also adds more water moisture density into ambient air in the lower atmospheric elevation - which is below 800 feet. This melted Ice water has a significant effect in changing weather patterns to a great deal. The extreme temperature delta or difference between the bodies of water and the warm atmospheric air gives rise to storms, typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes and all sorts of weather disturbance... bringing about extreme and abnormally higher water levels across the globe, the thermal difference - also contributes to Earthquakes which has struck the rest of the globe recently bringing about life altering and historical changing experiences to humanity.
How on earth can Filipinos be hyping a Water shortage problem by riding and capitalizing on an El Nino scare which unusually occurred in less than 6 years???... (Perhaps a political move in order to justify infusement of funding to the politicians pockets?) The water shortage is temporary and should not be amplified to scare people. If there will ever be a water shortage - it will only be artificial - controlled by the big corporation - in order to tax the helpless Pinoys who labor themselves abroad building other nations at the expense of their own.
Nothing is what it seems...
There is nothing to fear but fear itself... I am not campaigning for people to be wasteful of water... on the contrary - we need to conserve everything. But we also need to live free. Free from fear brought about by media hyping based on half truth and half lies... the question is how to tell which one is which - in my opinion - Don't even bother asking the government or anyone connected to it.
